Kamloops Christmas Market 2026

Kamloops, BC — Wednesday May 27, 2026 — Following the success of its pilot year, the Kamloops Christmas Market, Presented by
BCLC, is set to return in 2026 with a bigger, brighter, and more immersive holiday experience to connect the community.

Running November 27 to December 6, 2026, the expanded market will mark the event’s first full-scale edition, utilizing the entire
Heritage Parking Lot and building on the strong community support and positive feedback received from attendees, vendors,
volunteers, and partners during its inaugural year.

The 2026 Kamloops Christmas Market, Presented by BCLC, will feature a significant increase in vendors, offering a wide variety of
handcrafted goods, seasonal gifts, local products, food, and festive beverages. Visitors can also look forward to a larger outdoor stage
with enhanced entertainment programming, bringing live performances and holiday cheer throughout the 10-day event.

In addition to shopping and entertainment, the market will introduce more interactive activity workshops for all ages, creating hands-on
holiday experiences for families, residents, and visitors. Seasonal favourites will also return, including visits with Santa, along with an
expanded selection of hot beverages and food vendors to keep guests warm and well-fed as they explore the market.

“We were incredibly pleased with the support and feedback from the community during our pilot year,” said Duncan Olthuis, Executive
Director of the Kamloops Sports Council. “We are especially grateful to the amazing volunteers who helped bring the market to life. It
was clear there is a strong desire for a holiday market in Kamloops, and we are excited to build on that momentum with a bigger and
even more dynamic event in 2026.”

“The inaugural Kamloops Christmas Market, Presented by BCLC, was, by all measurements, a smashing success! Because of the City’s
visionary partners, dedicated staff, and community-minded participants, the Christmas Market joyfully saw over 23,000 visitors and an
estimated $2.6 million of economic impact come to fruition. This wonderful celebration of the season and community gathering hub
promises to be a rich tradition for the Interior for many years to come and the expansions we’ll see for 2026 are just the beginning.

The Kamloops Christmas Market, Presented by BCLC, is proudly organized by the Kamloops Sports Council, with the continued support
of valued community partners including the City of Kamloops, Tourism Kamloops, the Downtown Kamloops Business Improvement
Association, Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc, and Scwén̓ wen Economic Development Corporation.

The Kamloops Christmas Market, Presented by BCLC, aims to become a cherished annual tradition, celebrating local businesses,
