Community Resiliency Investment Program FireSmart Community and Funding Supports GrantsFireSmart Liaison CahoonReport – Community Resiliency Investment Program FireSmart Community and Funding Supports Grants Recommendation: That Council authorize: a) accepting a two-year, $400,000 grant ($200,000 per year) under the FireSmart Community Funding and Supports funding stream of the Community Resiliency Investment program to expand the City’s FireSmart Program b) accepting a $75,000 grant under the FireSmart Community Funding and Supports funding stream of the Community Resiliency Investment program to perform fuel mitigation work in previously untreated areas immediately adjacent to residential communities c) staff to provide overall grant management of the funds d) the Corporate Services Director to update the 2026–2030 Financial Plan accordingly
