Recommendation to Proceed into a Closed Council Meeting Recommendation: That Council proceed into a Closed Council Meeting immediately following its May 5, 2026, Regular Council Meeting under Community Charter sections 90: (1)(c) labour relations or other employee relations; (1)(e) the acquisition, disposition or expropriation of land or improvements, if the council considers that disclosure could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality; (2)(b) the consideration of information received and held in confidence relating to negotiations: (i) between the municipality and a provincial government or the federal government, or both, or between a provincial government or the federal government, or both, and a third party, (ii) between the municipality and another local government or between another local government and a third party, or (iii) between the municipality and a first nation or a prescribed Indigenous entity, or between a first nation or a prescribed Indigenous entity and a third party.
