Council adopted Council Remuneration Bylaw No. 71, 2026, and Code of Conduct Amendment Bylaw No. 53-3, 2026, and repealed Council Policy GGL-3: Council Remuneration, Travel Expenses, Insurance, and Communications Allowance. The Council Remuneration Bylaw increases transparency around Council member compensation, clarifies applicable remuneration and expense processes, strengthens administrative certainty and accountability, and establishes a clear and consistent regulatory framework.
