Public Engagement Opportunities

  • Red Bridge Anniversary event is taking place on September 19, 2026, 10:00 am–12:00 pm at Pioneer Park.
  • The City is once again inviting residents to submit their best photos of the places, spaces, activities, and events they love most in Kamloops for a chance to be featured in the 2027 City Calendar and other major publications. The submission deadline is 4:30 pm on September 29, 2026. For more information or to submit photos, visit Kamloops.ca/Calendar.
  • The City and Tḱemlúps te Secwépemc are co-hosting activities for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30, 2026, 10:00 am–4:00 pm. September 30 is a day for reflection, remembrance, and healing for our Indigenous hosts. Activities will include education, food, and vending at the Tḱemlúps te Secwépemc Arbour, 345 Powwow Trail.
  • The Heritage Engagement Group is seeking one individual interested in serving on the Heritage Engagement Group on a voluntary basis for a minimum two-year term. Learn more and apply at Kamloops.ca/EngagementGroups.
