Kamloops Central Business Improvement Area Local Service Area
Reports to Council
Maria Mazzotta, the City’s Corporate Officer, provided Council with a report seeking authorization to proceed with a petition process to re-establish the business improvement area for the Kamloops Central Business Improvement Association for a five-year period, in accordance with the Community Charter, Part 7, Division 5 – Local Service Taxes.
Council authorized the process allowing impacted property owners 30 days to formally petition against re-establishment. The submission deadline is 4:00 pm on Friday, September 11, 2026.
Official Kamloops Central Business Improvement Area petition forms are available at Kamloops.ca/KCBIA, at City Hall, or by request from Legislative Services at [email protected]. As with previous levy renewal processes, only official, City-provided petition forms will be accepted.
