Culture Days are back! Access a variety of free, hands-on arts and culture activities and events between September 18 and October 4, 2026. 

The City is pleased to participate in this national celebration of arts, culture, and creativity that was developed to encourage individuals and families to engage with, participate in, and support arts and culture in their community.

Whether you’re interested in exploring familiar cultural practices or discovering something new and fascinating, Culture Days has something for everyone.

“Culture Days is a wonderful opportunity for residents to experience the creativity, traditions, and stories that make Kamloops such a vibrant community,” said Cheryl Brochu, the City’s Culture and Events Coordinator. “By offering free and accessible activities, we’re helping people connect with local artists and organizations while celebrating the many ways arts and culture bring us together.”

Culture Days aligns with the You Are Here Kamloops Cultural Strategic Plan 2024–2034. The plan aims to support our vital cultural resources and identify cultural assets to meet the needs of our growing community. Culture Days connects with Strategic Direction 6 of the plan, which focuses on animating spaces through creative placemaking.
