TWO WEEK OPTIONS:
Mondays after school: January 11 – May 29, 2027 (10 classes – no classes February 15, March 15 & 22)
Wednesdays after school: January 20 – May 29, 2027 (10 classes – no classes March 17 & 24)
Each week is exactly the same class. Please choose the week that works best for you!
Mandatory Rehearsal: Weekend of May 22-24, 10am-6pm.
additional rehearsals will be held the final week of May 23-29
Performances: Friday, May 28 at 7pm and Saturday, May 29 at 2pm and 7pm

Ready for the spotlight? Has your child taken an introductory acting class and loved it? Performance class is a wonderful second step in your young person’s love for theatre. This intensive program welcomes students who are comfortable with the fundamentals of the stage and ready to dive into performance. This class is a complete rehearsal process culminating in 3 public performances. Students will learn about the rehearsal process, script and character study, ensemble work, as well as what it takes to make a production come together!

Kelson Hall
Kelson Hall is a downtown arts and education facility at 330 St. Paul Street in Kamloops. The renovated former TELUS Annex is home to Western Canada Theatre and the Kamloops Symphony, providing administrative offices, rehearsal areas, music education spaces, and venues for performances and community arts activities.
Developed and donated to the City of Kamloops by Ron and Rae Fawcett, the approximately 20,000-square-foot building includes three flexible rooms available for arts and cultural uses. The facility serves as a base for Kamloops Symphony concerts, chamber performances, music lessons, recitals, and rehearsals, while also supporting Western Canada Theatre’s operations. Kelson Hall is located near the planned Kamloops Centre for the Arts, contributing to the area’s role as an important downtown hub for performing arts and cultural programming.
