The park is located beside the separate Aberdeen Hills Dog Park, providing a convenient destination for households with both children and dogs. Dogs visiting the main park must remain on a leash and are not permitted in the playground area, while the neighbouring fenced dog park provides dedicated space for off-leash exercise.
