Albert McGowan Park

Albert McGowan Park is a City of Kamloops community park on Summit Drive in Upper Sahali. It combines active recreation areas with open green space and a natural wetland setting around Gambles Pond. The park includes three slo-pitch fields, mini soccer fields, picnic areas, washrooms, change rooms, a drinking fountain, and free parking.

The park is also home to the Hal Rogers Activity Centre, a community facility with space for meetings and gatherings. Families can use the upgraded accessible playground, which includes inclusive play features, shade structures, and rubber surfacing, along with the Albert McGowan Water Park, a seasonal splash area with new water features and a recirculating water system. Walkways through and around the park connect its recreation areas and provide access to the pond and wetland landscape.
