Heffley Creek Elementary is a small rural public school in the Heffley Creek community, operated by School District No. 73 (Kamloops-Thompson). The school serves students from Kindergarten through Grade 3 at its campus on Old Highway 5, near the Marriott Road area. It provides primary education for families in Heffley Creek and surrounding rural communities, with some students travelling by school bus from areas including Whitecroft, Knouff Lake and Vinsula.

The school has a close-knit, community-focused role and maintains strong connections with local families and its Parent Advisory Council. Its playground is an important gathering place for students and community members outside school hours. After completing Grade 3, students generally continue their elementary education at Rayleigh Elementary for Grades 4 through 7.
