Westsyde Secondary School

Westsyde Secondary School is a public Grade 8–12 school operated by School District No. 73 (Kamloops-Thompson) at 855 Bebek Road in Kamloops’ Westsyde area. Established in 1973, it serves as an important educational and community institution for local students and families.

The school supports a broad secondary-school experience with academic programs, counselling, Indigenous education, athletics, fine arts, a library, cafeteria services, and extracurricular activities. Westsyde Secondary is also a UNESCO Associated School, reflecting its work around sustainability, equity, peace, global citizenship, and student belonging. The school is situated on the traditional territory of the Secwépemc Nation, including the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc People.
