BC Wildlife Park is a non-profit wildlife park and conservation facility at 9077 Dallas Drive in east Kamloops. Established in the 1960s on land donated for use as a wildlife park, it is operated by the Kamloops Wildlife Park Society and is home to nearly 200 animals representing more than 65 species, with a focus on wildlife native to British Columbia.

The park provides visitors with opportunities to learn about animals such as bears, bison, caribou, waterfowl, reptiles, amphibians and other species through habitats, interpretive exhibits, educational programs and the Discovery Centre. The Discovery Centre includes an Eco Gallery, Wildlife Education Centre and reptile exhibit, while additional visitor features include the Wildlife Express Train, animal presentations, guided tours and family-oriented areas.

Conservation and animal care are central to the park’s role. Its Fawcett Family Wildlife Health Centre provides veterinary care and rehabilitation for injured and orphaned wildlife from across British Columbia’s Southern Interior, with the goal of returning suitable animals to the wild. The park also operates a long-standing burrowing owl breeding program in partnership with the Burrowing Owl Conservation Society, supporting the reintroduction of this extirpated species to grassland habitats in British Columbia. Through its on-site and outreach education, the BC Wildlife Park promotes respect for wildlife, biodiversity and healthy ecosystems.
