The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe
By C.S. LEWIS
Adapted by RON REED
Directed by ROBIN NICHOL
A MAGICAL HOLIDAY ESCAPE FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
This beloved children’ s story by CS Lewis has been adapted by BC writer Ron Reed to a story told by just two of the siblings from the original book. The youngest, Lucy, and her eldest brother Peter, now adults, stop into the country house they had first occupied as children evacuated from their London home during WWII. In this extra magical retelling of the story, we follow Lucy and Peter through the wardrobe and see them bring the world of Narnia back to life by awakening, not only their own imaginations, but ours too. This is a special holiday treat for the whole family to enjoy, and it will feature the work of a creative team made up entirely of local artists, many of whom are full time members of the WCT team. We are proud to give them a chance to show off a little.
“Creates a wonderful confection from humble ingredients.”

The Pavillion Theatre
The Pavilion Theatre is a compact black box performance venue operated by Western Canada Theatre at 1025 Lorne Street in downtown Kamloops. The approximately 150-seat studio theatre is designed for intimate productions and can also function as a rehearsal space, making it a regular home for smaller-scale theatre and other performing arts events.
The facility serves as more than an auditorium. It houses Western Canada Theatre’s administration offices, production workshops for carpentry, properties, paint and wardrobe, and a multi-purpose room used for meetings and private rehearsals. The Kamloops Live! Box Office is also located within the theatre, providing in-person ticket services for Pavilion and Sagebrush Theatre performances as well as other local events.
